May 04, 2025 - MIRA- Search is hiring a remote Senior QA Engineer. Salary: competitive salary and benefits package. Location: Europe.

Our customer is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join their quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing processes, extensive experience in API testing, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases.

Requirements

• + 6 years of experience in API testing (manual & automation is a plus)
• Experience with testing tools (Postman, DevTools, Fiddler/Charles Proxy, Swagger)
• Hands-on experience in API automation using tools like RestAssured, Cypress, or Playwright
• Proven experience creating and executing test cases, logging defects, and working with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
• Experience with logs & metrics tools (DataDog, Sentry, etc.)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
• Familiarity with various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, API, UAT)
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to fast-changing environments
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and non-functional testing
• Perform comprehensive manual API testing, develop, update, and maintain test cases and plans
• Perform testing beyond APIs, including UI, integrations, and other relevant areas based on project needs
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing strategies
• Investigate and report issues, ensuring timely resolutions
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of API testing frameworks
• Manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met
