Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Analyse and interpret business requirements and end-user feedback to provide meaningful and timely inputs, applying analysis to the testing process.
2. Create comprehensive Testing Strategies/Plans, describing the testing scope, strategy, techniques, approach, and test data for new features.
3. Report defects for issues found during testing and manage the defect lifecycle.
4. Create test cases, relevant test execution reports, and bug reports to convey the current state of features under test.
5. Collaborate with design and development teams to resolve issues and bugs promptly.
6. Utilize functional knowledge to identify impacted testing areas, and develop relevant regression testing scope, plans, and timelines.
7. Perform regression and exploratory testing along with planned testing for new features.
8. Plan automation testing, develop automation scripts at UI and API levels using appropriate tools.
9. Assess and communicate the quality of features under test, supported by data and metrics, to inform release decisions.
10. Analyze bugs found in production to develop systematic solutions to prevent recurrence.
11. Work across IT development areas, liaising with developers and stakeholders to enhance quality and performance.
12. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA strategies and processes.
13. Stay informed about the impact of new technologies on QA processes.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Postgraduate with proven experience in QA Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with tooling for Test Case Management and Defect Management.
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and good communication.
• Flexible to work in designated shift hours for global communication.
• Willing to support teammates, share knowledge, and learn from others.
• Open to constructive feedback and continuous process improvement.
