Job summary

HealthRecon Connect is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design scalable test frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and TypeScript. You will build reusable test suites and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor QA engineers, collaborate across teams, review automation code, and ensure test data integrity while supporting release readiness under healthcare IT and data privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA experience, including 3+ years in test automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium WebDriver using Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of REST API testing, SQL, backend validation, and data integrity.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline integration, automation reporting, and defect management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; mentoring junior QA engineers.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Design, develop, maintain, and improve scalable automated test frameworks and reusable test suites for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.

2. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, manage Git workflows, optimize test execution, reduce flaky tests, and maintain automation quality, reporting, and test data.

3. Perform API and database testing using relevant tools and SQL to validate business rules, data integrity, system integrations, and end-to-end transactions.

4. Analyze requirements, develop test strategies, identify automation opportunities, execute functional and risk-based testing, investigate defects, and perform root-cause analysis.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, review automation code, mentor QA engineers, participate in Agile ceremonies, support release readiness, and ensure relevant healthcare IT and data privacy quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 5 years of QA experience, including 3+ years in test automation engineering.

2. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver, using Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript to build and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

3. Strong knowledge of REST API testing, SQL, backend validation, test data management, and software testing methodologies.

4. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline integration, automation reporting, debugging, root-cause analysis, and defect management.

5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor junior QA engineers. Performance testing and healthcare/RCM software experience are advantageous.
