Job summary
Paralucent is seeking a QA Analyst / Software Tester (Tier 2) to ensure production stability for a mix of vendor-supported SaaS and custom .NET / SharePoint apps. You will validate fixes, reproduce issues, and document test evidence, helping releases land cleanly.
The role emphasizes both manual and automated testing, regression, and test management using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or TestRail. Experience with Playwright-Typescript and Selenium is highly valued.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of QA/testing in enterprise environments (production/operational support preferred).
- Strong expertise in manual and automation testing for defect validation and release cycles.
- Experience with .NET and/or Microsoft SharePoint applications.
- Familiarity with vendor-supported SaaS applications and test management tools.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity in test design and validation.
Responsibilities
- Own Tier 2 validation: reproduce issues, validate fixes, document evidence.
- Perform regression and impact testing (manual and automated).
- Support release validation with regression and smoke testing.
- Manage defects end-to-end using Azure DevOps, JIRA or TestRail.
- Build lean regression test packs and incident-based test scenarios.
