Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a QA Test Engineer (Onsite Hybrid) in Arlington, TX. Lead automation for web and API tests using Selenium WebDriver, C#, SpecFlow, and BDD practices. Collaborate across QA, BA, and development teams to translate requirements into automated tests; contribute to CI/CD, and improve frameworks.

The role requires strong experience in REST/SOAP, test frameworks, and cloud exposure (Azure/AWS/GCP). Competitive pay and benefits are provided for U.S.-based employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of software testing/QA automation experience.
• Minimum 3+ years API testing with Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Minimum 3+ years automation with Selenium WebDriver and C#.
• Minimum 2+ years with SpecFlow or Cucumber or similar BDD tools.
• Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML.
• Experience with NUnit, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts for web and API-based applications.
• Create, maintain, and execute BDD test scenarios using SpecFlow and Gherkin.
• Build and enhance POM automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
• Develop and execute data-driven test scenarios with dynamic test data management.
• Perform API testing and integrate API validation with UI automation for end-to-end coverage.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with QA, BA, PO, and Development teams to translate requirements into automated test cases.
• Maintain, refactor, and optimize existing automation frameworks and scripts.
• Create and maintain test documentation, automation reports, and defect tracking artifacts.
• Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and distinguish defects from automation issues.
• Mentor junior team members on automation best practices, framework design, and testing standards.
