Harvey Nash is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Selenium/API/DB testing) in Jersey City, NJ on a long-term contract. The role requires vast experience in automation, RESTful API testing, performance testing and cloud-based environments, along with strong SQL skills and programming in Python and C#.

The candidate should be familiar with CI/CD and Agile Scrum methodologies. Responsibilities include crafting end-to-end test plans, developing test scripts, and managing defect tracking, with

Qualifications

• 9+ years in software development, team environment.
• 3+ years automation with Selenium WebDriver in C#.
• 3+ years testing RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years performance testing with JMeter.
• 2+ years in cloud environments (AWS).
• 2+ years working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• 2+ years programming in Python and C#.
• Familiar with CI/CD practices.
• Familiar with Agile Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Create end-to-end test plans, test specifications and test case templates.
• Develop and document test plans and specifications.
• Develop and execute automated tests with scripting tools; document results.
• Facilitate defect Tracking and test result summaries with re-reporting.
• Review requirements documented as Functional Specifications.
• Provide feedback and ensure quality across the testing lifecycle.

JobDescription:

• 9+ years of provenexperience in software development industry, participating in teamenvironment .
• 3+ years of experiencein automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with C#.
• 3+ years of provenexperience in testing web services such as RESTful API.
• 3+ years of provenexperience in performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter.
• 2+ years of working in acloud-based development and production environment such as AWS .
• 2+ years of workingexperience with Databases such as Postgres , MySQL , ElasticSearch andOpenSearch.
• 2+ years of workingExperience with programming languages Python and C#.
• Familiarity working in aContinuous Integration atmosphere.
• Familiarity with Agile[Scrum]

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum andmaximum hourly wage for this position is $60 to $65/hr.
