Job summary

ASM Research seeks a senior QA leader to implement a complex QA program, establishing software quality standards across the lifecycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.

The role partners with business, product, and development teams through all SDLC stages, creating master test plans, writing automated scripts, and driving rapid, reliable testing to meet government directives and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's preferred.
• Certified Tester -- Advanced Level (TTA, TA, and/or TM) desired
• 8-15 years professional software testing experience including test automation and/or infrastructure development, test planning, test case design, test methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with developers, end users and organizations to create test plans and test scripts.
• Experience with configuring necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
• Experience in writing or assisting in the development of test plans and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and execution of automated test scripts.
• Creates and maintains master test plans and strategies across multiple projects.
• Oversees defect tracking and test case reviews.
• Participates in requirements, design, and interface specification reviews for testability.
• Ensures QA processes align with government directives and standards.
• Communicates testing progress and impediments to management.
