Job summary

CirrusMD is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead and scale its automation framework. You will drive test coverage across web and mobile platforms, collaborating with frontend, backend, and mobile engineers to build robust automated end-to-end tests.

You will own QA initiatives, implement modern tooling, and perform API, automation, and targeted manual regression testing to ensure platform stability. This role supports a remote-friendly US-wide team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, CS or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software test automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience building, scaling automated web test suites (Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or another programming language.
• Experience in parallel test execution in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience querying PostgreSQL databases.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own, develop, and scale our automation framework, increasing test coverage with end-to-end tests.
• Lead QA initiatives and improve QA processes and tooling within an agile environment.
• Perform automation, API, mobile, and targeted manual regression testing to ensure stability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze usage patterns to identify risk points and perform root-cause analysis on bugs.
• Partner with DevOps to run end-to-end tests in GitHub Actions CI/CD.
