Ardent Mills is seeking an IT QA Engineer to strengthen our software quality across the Microsoft stack. You will design robust test strategies, implement automated tests with Playwright, and collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Proficient in test automation using Playwright, along with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Hands-on experience testing applications built on the Microsoft stack: .NET, Angular, and SQL Server.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation, test data setup, and backend verification against SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, record, and track defects; collaborate closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to optimize testing processes.
• Conduct performance, regression, and integration testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with the IT Test Automation Manager, Product Owners/Managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices in testing and quality assurance.
