Job summary

ValueMomentum, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Tester to join our Guidewire-focused testing team in the US. You will collaborate with client QA teams and offshore supervisors to validate policy, billing, and contact management systems, develop test cases, and execute complex test scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in testing Guidewire Claim Center Configuration and Insurance Suite applications (Policy Center, Billing Center, Contact Manager) integration implementations.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance including Personal and Commercial Lines.
• Experience in Claims creation, FNOLs, Reserves, Checks and other payment transactions.
• Analyst Associate certification in Guidewire.
• Experience in manual testing in Guidewire Cloud Projects – Upgrade or Implementation.
• Experience in Guidewire Automation Testing.
• Experience in adapting testing standards and best practices.
• Experience in gap assessment of requirements and OOTB functionalities.
• Strong technical skills in manual functional testing in a continuous delivery environment.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of test management tools (HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in onsite-offshore model.
• Mentor junior QA team members.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire Policy system testing and P&C insurance.

Required Skills:

• Mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable.
• Strong technical skills in non-functional testing in a continuous delivery environment
• Functional Knowledge / hands on any of the other Guidewire XCenters namely Policy Center, Billing Center and Contact Manager
• Experience in Guidewire Automation Testing using Guidewire GT UI Framework.
