Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive quality engineering across a next‑generation Workforce Management and Customer Experience platform. You will own test automation across the full test pyramid, with a strong focus on component and integration testing of cloud-native microservices.

You will build and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Cypress with JUnit, and collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams, and domain experts to raise quality

Qualifications

• 6+ years of QA automation experience.
• Experience designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices (e.g., Spring Boot Test, Testcontainers, WireMock, REST Assured).
• Hands-on with Playwright and/or Cypress (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Experience with contract testing (Pact, Spring Cloud Contract).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, and modern test automation practices.
• Build and execute automated test suites at every level: unit, component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, and regression.
• Own component and integration testing of microservices, validating service behavior, data flows, and API contracts both in isolation and across service boundaries.
• Design and run performance and load tests to validate scalability and response times under peak volumes.
• Design and automate test scenarios for Workforce Management functionality, including forecasting and scheduling rules.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Analyze defects, identify root causes, and drive quality improvements across the SDLC.
• Establish quality engineering standards and reusable automation assets across product streams.
