Job summary

Vimo is seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer (SDET) with AI-enhanced testing expertise to validate a complex web-based health insurance marketplace.

You will perform manual and automated testing, design and maintain automation frameworks, and drive test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers. Join a team that leverages AI tools to generate tests, analyze defects, and accelerate feedback within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

5 years of QA experience with automation and manual testing.
Proven experience testing web applications.
Strong QA methodologies and data validation skills.
Experience with API testing and data-driven systems.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and automated test development.
Comfort using AI tools within the SDLC (AI-assisted test creation, analysis).

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and workflows to design manual and automated test cases.
Perform manual and automated testing including exploratory, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Contribute to test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers.
Identify, document, and triage defects with clear repro steps and root cause insights.
Use AI tools to enhance testing and test optimization.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback.
