Highlight Health is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to define and own our test practice from the ground up. You will shape the test strategy for a claims intelligence platform that handles protected health information and generates financial recommendations.

You will lead regression testing for the AI-assisted extraction pipeline, ensure data isolation at the database layer, and set standards for the engineering team. Remote or Philadelphia-area with EST hours preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in QA automation, building test practices from scratch.
• Owns test strategy and tooling decisions, not just execution.
• Hands-on with Playwright or similar; SQL and PostgreSQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall test strategy across layers.
• Define and own regression testing for AI-assisted extraction pipeline.
• Define row-level security and multi-tenant data isolation testing at DB layer.
• Set testing standards and review coverage on PRs.
• Own synthetic test data generation with de-identified PHI.
