Job summary

Fulcronix is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation for web apps and APIs in Denver. You will design scalable automation frameworks, build and maintain automated tests with Playwright, and drive CI/CD integration.

The role collaborates with DevOps, product, and development teams to ensure high-quality releases, leveraging AI-powered tools like Amazon Q and Kiro. Mentoring junior engineers and improving QA processes are key aspects.

Qualifications

5+ years of QA automation experience.
Hands-on with Playwright and modern automation tools.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD integration (GitLab).
Experience with Jira and Qmetry for test management.
Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools (Amazon Q, Kiro).
Understanding of SDLC/Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web apps and APIs.
Create and execute automated tests using Playwright and other tools.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration and E2E testing.
Integrate test suites within CI/CD using GitLab CI/CD.
Collaborate with DevOps for deployment validation and release quality.
Leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and debugging.
Work with product, dev, and stakeholders to understand testing needs.
Manage test cases, defects, and QA processes using Jira and Qmetry.
Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
Perform API testing with Postman and REST Assured.
Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and report defects.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.
Ensure automation coverage and high-quality standards across projects.
