Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to advance a strategic platform integration. You will design, build, and mature automation frameworks with Python, applying Playwright for UI tests across APIs, services, and databases.

This onsite role in Hyderabad, India requires strong Linux skills, CI/CD integration, and QA collaboration with Jira/QTest. You will help raise test coverage, reliability, and scalability in enterprise-grade workflows.

Qualifications

5–7+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer with Python development
Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
Strong Linux experience, including troubleshooting with Linux commands
Hands-on experience with QTest and integrating test management with Jira
Proven track record of maturing automation and implementing scalable testing
Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and Agile practices
Experience with Playwright for UI automation
Experience supporting enterprise platform integration projects
Financial Services or Capital Markets experience preferred
API testing, database validation, end-to-end automation

Responsibilities

Evaluate, enhance, and expand automation capabilities across platforms
Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks from scratch
Increase reliability, scalability, and test coverage for APIs, backend services, and end-to-end workflows
Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate in an Agile environment
