Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to safeguard quality in a high-velocity, AI-augmented development lifecycle. This role emphasizes creating robust automation scripts and testing AI-generated features before they reach production.

You will design and run automated tests for Java APIs and Angular UIs, validate AI-assisted code against requirements, and manage test data in PostgreSQL while verifying AWS deployments. Onsite collaboration will be essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of QA testing automation.
Proficiency with automated testing frameworks for Java/Angular (Cucumber, Selenium).
Knowledge of 508 compliance testing and accessibility standards.
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines in GITLAB.
Analytical mindset for identifying issues in fast-paced builds.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree.
Top Secret security clearance.
Willing to work onsite 100%.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and execute automated test scripts for Java-backed APIs and Angular UIs.
Validate AI-assisted code against business requirements and edge cases.
Manage test data in PostgreSQL and verify AWS deployments.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Participate in agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives; conduct 508 testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems.
Perform regression testing to ensure changes do not break existing functionality.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders.
