Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Senior QA Automation to drive quality across our Digital ecosystem, including Michaels.com, mobile apps, APIs and third-party integrations. You will define and lead the automation strategy, establish regression and end-to-end testing as the norm, and mentor QA engineers to raise standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience.
• Experience with retail tech or e-commerce apps preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automation strategy across e-commerce, mobile, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Lead automation for Michaels.com and mobile applications; establish cross-browser, accessibility, and end-to-end automation strategies.
• Establish automation as the primary approach for regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Mentor QA engineers and establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture and DevOps to establish release readiness criteria and quality gates.
• Drive AI-enabled QA testing practices and tool adoption.
