Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation in Hartford, CT seeks a senior QA Automation engineer with 10+ years of experience in Playwright and Selenium. You will design and maintain scalable test frameworks using Core Java, OOPs and data structures, and contribute to API testing and database validation.

The role requires strong SDLC knowledge, Agile practices, and experience with CI/CD, Git, BDD/Cucumber/SpecFlow/TDD, plus AI-driven test automation tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA Automation experience with Playwright/Selenium.
• Strong Java, OOP and data structures knowledge.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining scalable test frameworks.
• SQL Server and MySQL experience for database testing.
• Familiar with SDLC, Agile, QA principles.
• CI/CD, Git, BDD, Cucumber, SpecFlow, and TDD exposure.
• Functional, Regression, Integration and Performance testing.
• Backend API test automation and database testing.
• AI and GenAI knowledge including AI-driven testing tools.
• Analytical, problem solving, communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• 10+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing using Playwright and Selenium.
• Strong technical expertise in Core Java, OOPs, and Data Structures, with the ability to work with multiple programming languages.
• Hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and enhancing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in SQL Server and database testing, with knowledge of MySQL.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, BDD, Cucumber, SpecFlow, and TDD.
• Expertise in Functional, Regression, Integration, and Performance Testing.
• Hands‑on experience in Backend API Test Automation and database testing.
• Mandatory knowledge of AI and GenAI, including exposure to AI‑driven tools for test automation and their integration into QA processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
