Job summary

Alaska Airlines in Seattle—Hangar is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Auditor in Maintenance & Engineering. You will act as a subject matter expert, conducting audits, analyzing root causes, and coordinating with internal teams and CAS E partners to improve safety and compliance.

The role requires 4 years in airline maintenance/audit, FAA knowledge, strong communication, and travel readiness; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; exempt full-time; competitive benefits and total rewards

Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in maintenance and engineering, auditing, compliance, or safety within the airline industry or related area.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or additional 2 years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, operating policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to understand, audit, and document complex business and operational processes, including scoping audit projects.
  • Strong communication across all levels within an operations organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an SME in QA audits using department methodologies and checklists.
  • Conduct complex reviews, investigations, and audits to improve M&E processes.
  • Manage audits in support of CAS E.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain audit results in QA database and validate actions taken.
