Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Principal QA Architect to drive the quality technology ecosystem across the software lifecycle. You will define roadmaps, lead AI-enabled testing initiatives, and build scalable tooling that improves visibility, coverage, and delivery quality.

This role requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will mentor teams, shape QA standards, and partner with engineering, DevOps, and product owners to

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 10 years' experience in software quality, engineering, or related fields.
Minimum five years of technical leadership or supervisory experience.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade quality solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain QA technology strategy aligned to roadmaps and governance.
Design, prototype, and deliver scalable quality solutions across teams.
Lead AI-enabled testing, observability, analytics, and quality reporting initiatives.
Mentor engineers, drive adoption, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Partner with QA, engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate quality in pipelines.
