Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote

Position: Full Time

Required Experience : 5+ years

Timings : 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Identifies test cases and creates or updates test case documents with assistance from core engineering team.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Executes test cases, identify bugs, evaluate bugs with appropriate priority and severity, and report bugs.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Identifies the gap between the function specifications and implementation.
• Understands the functionality of the entire product and takes ownership of the hot fixes allocated to him/her for testing.
• Provides recommendations for enhancing product features.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Load testing using the open-source tools.
• Experience in the UI/Functional automation Selenium
• API automation using Rest Assured.

Required Skills:

• Experience in developing automation framework from scratch.
• Experience in Load testing
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in testing web-based products/projects.
• Ability to work in a team and challenging environment.
• Knowledge of different types of testing and testing strategies.
• Understands the SDLC, Agile/SCRUM concepts and software release cycle.
• Knowledge of stress and performance testing desirable.
• Knowledge of automation tool is desirable.
• Knowledge on TFS/Jira.
• Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
• Excellent Team Player skills.
