Job summary

Artifintech in New Jersey is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst or Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join a collaborative tech and QA team supporting business-critical software initiatives. You will own testing activities across the SDLC and help advance automation and Generative AI in quality engineering.

The role requires 3–10 years in software testing or P&C insurance, hands-on test management, data-testing, and experience using Generative AI tools to improve QA productivity and coverage.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of software QA/testing experience, preferably in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Experience with OpenText Quality Center/ALM for requirements, test case, defect, and lifecycle management.
• Strong data-testing skills, including SQL queries and XML or comparable structured data formats.
• Experience using Generative AI tools to support QA activities.
• Ability to validate AI-generated testing artifacts for completeness and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts based on requirements.
• Participate in requirements reviews to identify potential quality issues early in the SDLC.
• Define testing strategies and schedules aligned with scope and risk.
• Facilitate test-plan reviews with stakeholders to establish alignment before execution.
• Maintain testing documentation within ALM, including test cases, results, defects, and traceability.
• Create and maintain test data for manual and automated testing.
• Apply Generative AI tools to accelerate test design, generate scenarios, and improve documentation while validating outputs.
• Identify opportunities for AI-assisted and automated testing to increase coverage and productivity.
• Monitor and communicate quality status throughout testing and release readiness.
• Support UAT by preparing relevant artifacts and data for business users.
