Job summary

Select Search Associates LLC seeks a Senior Software Developer with Python experience to support a Federal Program in Springfield, VA. This is a direct-hire role; an active TS/SCI Clearance is required with CI Polygraph sponsorship within the first year.

Designs, develops, evaluates, and tests AI features across several software programs and applications. Responsibilities include integrating data streams, completing cloud platform migrations, developing AI features, and applying modern DevSecOps

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field, or 3 additional years of IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests AI features across software programs.
• Integrate multiple data streams into customer system.
• Complete Cloud platform migrations between platforms.
• Develop AI features for ontology-based software applications.
• Create sustainable software applications with efficient branching and maintained repos.
• Work in an agile Scrum team and participate in daily stand-ups, sprints, reviews and demos.
• Implement requirements from the product backlog and assist in backlog grooming.
• Apply DevSecOps practices including secure SDLC, vulnerability remediation, and automated security scanning.
• Develop and modify applications, software, services, interfaces, and IT systems.
