Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Python & React Engineer to join our remote-friendly team. You will develop full-stack features across React web and React Native mobile apps with Python/Django back-end services in a distributed environment.

You will design robust REST APIs, mentor peers, and contribute to architecture while delivering high-quality software in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience building backend services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Django or a similar Python web framework.
• Experience building web applications with React.
• Experience developing mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
• Experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to give and receive feedback effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features across React web applications, React Native mobile applications, and Python/Django backend services.
• Design and implement well-documented, well-tested REST APIs that support real-world conditions, including intermittent connectivity.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into well-scoped technical solutions and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
• Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, and continuously improve development workflows, tooling, documentation, and engineering practices.
