QMD Scientific is seeking a Senior Python Full Stack DevOps Engineer to join its platform engineering team in Georgia. You will bridge cloud infrastructure, scalable backends, and data-intensive apps powering healthcare workflows, owning serverless design on AWS and collaborating with data science, product, and clinical teams to deliver secure, compliant systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering across backend and infrastructure automation.
• Expertise with AWS services and serverless architectures.
• Experience designing data-intensive systems and ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud-native serverless applications on AWS.
• Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines using S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
• Build full-stack features with Python backends and React frontends.
• Lead infrastructure-as-code initiatives with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Own CI/CD pipelines across GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or equivalent tooling.
• Ensure HIPAA, SOC 2, and regulatory compliance; contribute to audit readiness.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture reviews and roadmaps.
