Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Full-Stack) with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered solutions. You will leverage Python (FastAPI) for backend services and ReactJS for rich user interfaces, with PostgreSQL for data management.

The role focuses on cloud-native delivery on GCP, with exposure to AWS, and collaboration with data scientists across global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack or backend software development with distributed, scalable systems.
• Expert proficiency in Python with FastAPI for high-performance APIs.
• Strong ReactJS experience for modern UIs.
• Deep PostgreSQL expertise including design, optimization, and advanced queries.
• Experience with unit tests using Pytest and Vitest.
• Cloud platform experience with GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL) and familiarity with AWS.
• Knowledge of SDLC, agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control.
• Experience with load testing and performance optimization.
• RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven design patterns.
• Experience integrating ML/AI or data analytics into production apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build responsive UIs with ReactJS and translate requirements into intuitive front-ends.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for performance and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain robust tests with Pytest and Vitest, focusing on TDD.
• Contribute to architectural choices for cloud-native apps including multi-cloud patterns.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot on GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL) and AWS.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI/ML models into apps.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to uphold quality.
• Work within agile teams, manage CI/CD pipelines, and use Git workflows.
