Job summary

Thoughtworks is seeking Lead Developers (Python) to act as the primary client contact, guiding teams to deliver strategic technical visions. You will balance high-level strategy with hands-on development, collaborating with clients and teammates to craft robust software solutions.

You’ll champion best practices (TDD, pairing, design patterns) and drive delivery across the full lifecycle, including CI/CD, cloud integrations, and platform engineering.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with OO design.
• Experience leading software teams and delivering client-focused projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD and testing practices.
• Knowledge of cloud tech (Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion and adopt best practices like TDD and design patterns.
• Oversee end-to-end software delivery from ideation to production.
