Job summary

Long Ridge Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Risk Technology team in New York. You will own end-to-end design and delivery of Python-based risk solutions, interfacing with risk research and management.

You will build scalable Python applications powering firm-wide risk systems and architect cloud-based services for real-time and batch workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to translate research into robust engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in financial services, preferably fixed income.
• Deep expertise in Python and/or C# with production-grade, scalable apps.
• Experience with large-scale datasets, storage, and data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Self-starter able to define and execute a path forward independently.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Python applications powering risk systems.
• Build interfaces and utilities for stakeholders to access risk data.
• Architect and deploy cloud-based services for real-time and batch risk workflows.
• Collaborate with Risk Research and Risk Management to translate research into code.
