Job summary

TechWish is seeking a Senior Backend (Python) Engineer to design, develop and maintain robust backend services for data-driven decisioning platforms. You will work with a cross-functional team including Scrum Master, Cloud Engineers, AI/ML Engineers and UI/UX Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will own API design, data handling, and performance optimization for scalable systems, participating in UAT and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience designing, building and maintaining backend for enterprise web apps.
• Expert Python (3.4+), backend development
• Experience with REST APIs and data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and versioning tools like GitHub
• Ability to troubleshoot, UAT participation and strong problem solving"

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop backend for Data to Decision projects for Fortune 500 client
• Collaborate with data science and engineering to integrate algorithm outputs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot bugs and integration issues
• Lead team, project management and effective communication
• Create and maintain documentation for processes and applications
