Job summary

Citigroup seeks a Senior Python Engineer to contribute to new and revised application systems in a Technology team. You will participate in feasibility studies, design, development, testing, and implementation, collaborating with business users and IT groups.

You will bring 5+ years in programming with Python/Java, strong SDLC/AGILE experience, and expertise with Pyspark and GitHub to support secure, scalable solutions in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience in agile projects.
• 5+ years of programming in Java/J2EE, Python and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Github and version control systems.
• Experience with Pyspark.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of AI principles and ML basics in Python.

Responsibilities

• Participate in establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems.
• Monitor and control all phases of development from analysis to implementation.
• Analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes and standards.
• Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation analysis.
• Consult with users and tech groups on issues and solutions.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and senior team members.
