Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Senior Python Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable production-grade applications, data pipelines, APIs, and automation workflows in Capital Markets contexts.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Python and SQL development, strong software architecture skills, and hands-on experience with REST services, data modeling, and front-end frameworks. AI/GenAI experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience developing Capital Markets solutions involving hedges, securities, derivatives, interest rates and related financial products.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting production-grade applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable, production-grade applications, data pipelines, APIs, and automation workflows.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Implement AI/GenAI use cases including agent development, orchestration, and RAG.
