Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python) to support enterprise applications in Capital Markets and Treasury Technology. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, APIs, and backend services with modern frameworks.

Responsibilities include modernization of legacy systems, collaboration across finance and technology teams, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. AWS experience and AI-driven solution exploration are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on Python development experience, including design, testing, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL expertise with relational databases, complex queries, optimization, and data modeling.
• Experience designing and developing data pipelines, APIs, and enterprise application architectures.
• Experience with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, and production support.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Build scalable data pipelines, APIs, automation frameworks, and backend services.
• Build and enhance web applications, dashboards, and workflow tools using Dash/Flask, React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• Modernize legacy applications and manual processes through automation and improved software architecture.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support AWS cloud infrastructure, including ECS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, and Security Groups.
• Manage source control, automated testing, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Identify and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and application defects.
• Explore and implement AI-driven solutions, including agentic workflows, RAG, and enterprise AI integrations.
