Job summary

DINS Devsu in the United States is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to design, develop, and support integration services, APIs, middleware, and automation capabilities enabling AI-powered business solutions.

You will build scalable enterprise integrations, connectors, and services that securely connect AI agents and business applications with internal and external systems, applying business context and architectural trade-offs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python.
• Proven experience designing and delivering production REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of API design principles, auth, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications and services.
• Understanding of event-driven and service-oriented architectures.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand business purpose and wider context behind technical requirements.
• Ability to identify assumptions, explain trade-offs, and propose alternatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot production REST APIs and integration services.
• Build and enhance MCP connectors and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Develop middleware services connecting AI platforms with enterprise apps and data sources.
• Create automation capabilities that streamline business processes and AI workflows.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product teams, and stakeholders to define scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability standards.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, libraries, and integration patterns.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Codex in day-to-day engineering and review.
