DMI is seeking a Python Developer to design, build, and operate internal applications and automation for a large federal enterprise IT services program. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Hands-on web app development with Flask or similar framework.
• Experience integrating REST APIs with auth, pagination, and errors.
• Linux administration knowledge (systemd, Bash).
• Data processing with pandas and SQL; PostgreSQL design and queries.
• Git with disciplined version control; open source tooling in prod.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal Python web applications using Flask and Streamlit.
• Automate recurring workflows: reports, data reconciliation, and ticket follow-ups.
• Apply AI features and ensure code is validated before production.
• Develop ServiceNow integrations and asset management data reporting.
• Produce SLA reporting and ensure data accuracy across sources.
• Operate apps in secure Linux environments with DevOps practices.
