Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a seasoned Python Developer for Treasury & Capital Markets technology. You will design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services, APIs, and data-processing components to support treasury transactions, hedging programs, and fixed-income operations.

You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions, optimize SQL queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Java, DB, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software-development experience
• 4+ years of strong hands-on Python development
• 2+ years in Banking, Financial Services, Treasury, or Capital Markets tech
• Strong Python and software-engineering skills
• Production-grade apps, backend services, APIs, or data-processing with Python
• Strong SQL and relational database experience
• Experience integrating apps with databases, APIs, and enterprise systems
• Strong understanding of OOP and software-development principles
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Independent ownership of development activities and delivery
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to describe personal contributions and business outcomes

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Python-based applications for Treasury & Capital Markets platforms
• Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions
• Develop backend services, APIs, automation, and data-processing components
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and processing
