Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets.
• Strong Python programming to manipulate large datasets and automate workflows.
• Deep understanding of instruments such as interest rate swaps, FX, bonds, repos.
• Familiarity with Volcker Rule, MiFID II, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication bridging business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with trading, risk, and technology teams to gather and document requirements for capital markets products and risk analytics.
• Develop and maintain Python-based tools to support data analysis, reporting, and automation of processes.
• Analyze financial instruments including swaps, FX, bonds, and repos.
• Validate P&L and risk calculations with risk and finance teams.
• Support regulatory implementation and monitoring of global financial rules.
• Translate business needs into functional specs for developers and participate in testing and training.
