Qualifications

• Advanced professional experience developing Python APIs using object‑oriented programming.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale application architecture and design.
• Experience designing distributed asynchronous systems and preventing data conflicts across immutable, multi‑machine environments.
• Experience with SQL databases and Oracle.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka or comparable message broker technologies.
• Experience developing and deploying solutions within Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with GitHub and modern source‑control workflows.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Experience mentoring junior technical professionals.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders on complex development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs using Python and object‑oriented programming principles.
• Build scalable distributed and asynchronous systems that maintain data integrity across environments.
• Develop solutions using SQL databases, Oracle, and other enterprise databases.
• Build and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop event‑driven and message‑based solutions using Kafka or similar brokers.
• Deploy and support applications within Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, develop, test, and release new features.
• Provide troubleshooting and bug fixes for production issues.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Develop automated testing and deployment solutions to improve quality and delivery.
• Advise stakeholders on technical issues and mentor junior developers.
