Quant Blueprint LLC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their Commodities Trading Group. You will build a first-in-class platform for quantitative and fundamental research, working with researchers and traders to create an effective environment for data analysis and modelling.

The position requires strong Python skills, expertise in API development, and a passion for building tooling that enhances research productivity. Ideal candidates will have experience with modern data technologies and enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for developer experience and expertise in API design and usability.
• Experience building and scaling large-scale analysis or machine-learning tools.
• Willingness to support and educate researchers on best practices in software engineering.
• Ability to own delivery of complex projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Create tools and workflows that enable exploratory research.
• Craft Python APIs that enable research productivity.
• Work with researchers to implement research studies, analytics, and production models for commodities trading.
• Define and maintain our Python research environment.
• Build systems for back‑testing & development of systematic trading strategies.
