Job summary

Business Integration Partners (BIP) is expanding its footprint in the United States, seeking a trading-grade Python engineer to design and build a production-level Python platform for principal trading, pricing, and risk workflows.

You will work with quants and trading technology to deliver robust, scalable systems that integrate with market data and risk services, with a focus on reliability and front-office controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python software engineering experience.
• Experience building production systems in Python, not notebooks or research notebooks.
• Knowledge of Quartz or similar Python trading/risk platforms.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, containers, and internal frameworks.
• Experience with market data, pricing, P&L, and risk services integration.
• Familiarity with Linux production environments and operational support.
• Delivery of reliable systems with uptime, monitoring, and release-management.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a Python-based trading container/framework for quants.
• Develop production-grade Python services with reliability and SLA.
• Integrate platform components with market data, trades, pricing, P&L, and risk.
• Build APIs, service layers, and runtime infrastructure for trading workflows.
• Ensure robustness, observability and operational controls.
• Contribute to Quartz-style platform architecture and tooling.
• Collaborate with quant, trading, risk, and platform teams to translate needs.
• Support deployment and lifecycle management in enterprise trading environments.
• Optimize usability for quant developers while maintaining front-office controls.
