Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python backend development.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design, indexing, JSONB, and migrations.
• Experience designing or implementing knowledge graphs and ontologies.
• Experience with graph technologies such as Neo4j, Apache AGE, Cypher/openCypher.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, backend architecture, and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience with data validation, synchronization, and workflow logic or state machines.
• Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement knowledge graphs, ontologies, graph data models, and queries using Neo4j, Apache AGE, or comparable technologies.
• Build data pipelines and synchronization mechanisms for structured compliance data and graph representations.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems, including CMDB and security assessment platforms.
• Implement APIs, workflow logic, and auditable risk-scoring capabilities.
• Maintain data consistency, validation, security, automated testing, and CI/CD reliability.
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into maintainable backend solutions.
