Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Back-End Engineer to design, build, and operate the data infrastructure powering our AI-driven knowledge platform. You will architect APIs, build data pipelines, manage multi-modal databases, and own the reliability of services used by product teams.

You will work across the stack with strong fundamentals, including relational schemas, graph queries, vector stores, and production-grade REST APIs. Knowledge graph tech is central to this role at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Knowledge Graph data hydration and ontology mapping.
• Strong RDF, SPARQL, and semantic tech background.
• Experience with graph databases and SQL proficiency.
• Proficient in Python or Java and REST API design.

Responsibilities

• Hydrate data into Knowledge Graphs by mapping source data to ontologies.
• Develop data mapping and transformation workflows with R2RML or similar.
• Write and optimize SPARQL for graph loading and retrieval.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Design scalable relational schemas and graph hydration queries.
• Deploy and maintain vector DB infrastructure for embeddings.
• Design and maintain graph query APIs for internal teams.
• Tune graph database queries and indexing strategies.
• Own containerization, deployment, and monitoring in cloud.
• Ensure data quality, ontology alignment, and PI/PHI security.
• Collaborate with ontologists and product teams on Knowledge Graphs.
