Job summary

Tricon Solutions in India (remote) seeks a Senior Backend Python Engineer to lead core backend services for a highly scalable, data-intensive platform. You will design and own scalable backend & computation services, build configuration-driven systems, and craft complex SQL queries with robust data models.

Collaborate with Data, AI, and Product teams while mentoring engineers and driving architectural decisions across multi-tenant, multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong backend experience with Python, FastAPI and Bash.
• Excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
• Strong system design, scalability, and performance expertise.
• Experience with configuration-driven/rules-based architectures.
• Strong focus on quality, testing, and system reliability.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers.
• Experience with multi-tenant and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and own scalable backend & computation services.
• Build configuration-driven and reusable systems.
• Develop complex SQL queries and efficient data models.
• Ensure systems are accurate, reliable, reproducible, and auditable.
