Job summary

Emerging Travel Group in the United States is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to join the HQ Automation division and our AI/LLM Team. You will develop backend services for our CRM/ERP platform built with Django/FastAPI, and work with Camunda, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native workflows.

We value experience with high-load systems, API design, and CI/CD with Docker/Kubernetes. Remote-friendly with flexible schedules and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including a Senior Developer role.
• 5+ years of Python development experience with Django or FastAPI;
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and ability to write raw SQL queries.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations;
• Experience with high-load systems and large databases.
• GitFlow and CI/CD processes; Docker and Kubernetes.
• English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) or above, including spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Backend development of the CRM/ERP product using Python, primarily with the Django framework.
• Working with Camunda, including supporting its infrastructure.
• Integrating with LLM models and developing and maintaining services for working with them.
• Designing service architecture, making technical decisions, decomposing and estimating tasks, and participating in code reviews.
• Consulting with System Analysis, QA, and Technical Support teams.
• Managing development projects within the stream and coordinating team resources to achieve project goals.
