Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Python.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object‑oriented design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience working with Linux‑based environments.
• Strong experience with source control systems such as Git and modern development workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence outcomes across teams.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms in professional software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on CI‑CD practices and automating tool stack.
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Automates manual release activities.
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Builds scalable APIs, backend services, and automation workflows using Python.
• Develops and maintains integrations with enterprise infrastructure, operational tooling, and management platforms.
• Designs solutions that are secure, reliable, maintainable, and operationally efficient.
