Job summary

WorldQuant seeks a senior Python engineer to join a small team working on complex data pipelines, AI/ML systems, and cutting-edge software solutions. This role will provide technical leadership while maintaining hands-on development across WorldQuant's technology org.

The candidate should have deep Python expertise, data engineering experience, and knowledge of scalable pipelines, cloud platforms, and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or scikit-learn.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of Python development with data engineering focus.
• Experience with AI/ML systems, scalable data pipelines, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews.
• Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalable design.
• Collaborate across teams within WorldQuant's technology org.

Education

Master's degree or higher in Computer Science
