Job summary

Akina Inc in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a Software Engineer III to deliver end-to-end features for mission-critical infrastructure cognizance, leveraging Python, AI/ML, and Kafka.

You will design full-stack apps, build ETL workflows, apply AI to accelerate analysis, and ensure scalable data ingestion, collaborating with peers across the organization.

This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 12+ years SWE experience, a CS degree, and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Twelve+ years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four additional SWE years of experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (frontend and backend).
• Develop ETL workflows to reconcile requested vs. realized infrastructure.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate analysis and prototype new solutions quickly.
• Ensure scalable and reliable data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with full-stack engineers on integration and visualization of results.
