Job summary

KellyMitchell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Agentic System Layer (ASL) team in Fort Worth, TX. You will build core platform components, orchestrate AI agents, and develop APIs and microservices for LLM integration.

The role emphasizes clean, testable code and rapid onboarding in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on cloud/container experience with REST APIs and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python proficiency.
• Production REST/gRPC APIs and microservices experience.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and LLM integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain agent orchestration services, tool registries, and execution runtimes.
• Build APIs and microservices for LLM integration, prompt management, and agent lifecycle management.
• Implement observability, logging, and monitoring for agentic workflows.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for platform reliability.
• Collaborate with architects and ML engineers on model integration.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and deployment automation.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production support of the AI platform.
