Job summary

Armtec Defense Technologies in Camden, AR is seeking a Test Technician II to join our quality team. You will lead testers, prepare and test flare outputs and support calibration activities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; three years related experience.
• Must understand basic math, science, and engineering principles.
• Must have general computer skills (MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Assist in the training of newer test technicians to help develop skills needed to be self-sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Leads Testers in: Preparing, Arming and testing flare output performance.
• Set‑up and testing of flares static function/velocity conformance.
• Preparation and test firing of end burners.
• Ignition component testing.
• Pulling samples.
• Performing all required tests.
• Plans sequence of testing and calibration procedures for instruments, equipment and products.
• Coordinates test results with Blend Supervisor; maintains general test records.
