Conducts routine and special chemical & physical tests. Uses various laboratory apparatus, equipment and instruments that involve understanding of reading dials and scales and proper handling and use of chemicals. Lifts and carries containers of: Chemicals and other materials, samples, apparatus and delicate instruments. Reports results of work verbally, in writing, and by computer. Prepares and standardizes chemical reagents. Calibrates measuring instruments. Keeps the laboratory clean and orderly. Conducts work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and procedures.
