Job summary

KLA in Milpitas is seeking an accomplished technical leader with deep PVD and semiconductor process expertise to develop next-generation equipment and process capabilities.

You will set technical direction across PVD, metallization, annealing, thin films, and device integration, coordinating across engineering teams and suppliers to advance device innovations.

Qualifications

• At least 15+ years of proven semiconductor experience in PVD and related technology development.
• Deep knowledge of PVD deposition processes and equipment.
• Experience specifying and improving PVD chamber hardware.
• Strong understanding of device integration and metallization.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new PVD equipment and chambers for future devices.
• Define requirements, priorities, schedules, and risks.
• Collaborate with process and hardware teams to optimize capabilities.
• Translate device needs into equipment and process specs.
• Drive multi-functional teams across suppliers and internal groups.
• Review results to guide development priorities.
